LONDON, APRIL 2023- Accelex, a SaaS platform specializing in alternative investment data acquisition, reporting and analytics, announced today the appointment of David Watts to its management team as Chief Commercial Officer. Reporting to Michael Aldridge, President and Chief Revenue Officer, David brings extensive experience in scaling businesses and developing sales growth strategies.
David joins Accelex at a pivotal time of significant product innovation and major client acquisition to lead the sales, marketing and customer success teams. Michael Aldridge, says, "We've enjoyed outstanding growth in the last couple of years, and we're now looking to build on this success to ensure we have the processes, structure, and management in place to drive the next phase of our business. David’s experience in building successful commercial teams as well as periods as a journalist and a financial market analyst will be crucial to our seizing the opportunities in the marketplace."
David comes to Accelex with a strong track record, having previously served as CRO and Global Head of Research at CreditSights. As CRO, David transformed sales to lift growth from low single-digits to double-digit growth. After that, as global head of research, he oversaw CreditSights’s product and product development. Following the successful sale of CreditSights to Fitch Solutions in 2021, David took some time out to open a climbing wall before working with Accelex as a consultant, designing strategies to scale revenues quickly.
